Mongolia to cooperate with Lithuania in veterinary sector

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian Minister of Food and Agriculture R.Burmaa Wednesday met newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lithuania to Mongolia Ms Ina Marciulionyte. The sides exchanged views on a present situation of the bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector and further collaboration. Ms Burmaa said her side could learn Lithuanian experiences in renovation and meat and dairy products production high tech, introduce them in Mongolia, and exchange agricultural goods. She also sounded her views on cooperating in livestock diseases treatment. In turn, the Ambassador Ms Marciulionyte underlined that the agricultural industry is the main area of the bilateral cooperation, and supported the Minister’s proposal on exchanging representatives. As a result of the meeting, the sides created conditions for concluding a cooperation memorandum between the two Agriculture Ministries in the veterinary sphere.
