PRESIDENTS OF AZERBAIJAN AND ESTONIA GIVE JOINT PRESS STATEMENTS
Baku, January 13 (AzerTAc). Following the ceremony of signing the Joint Declaration,
Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Toomas Hendrik Ilves of Estonia held a
joint press conference on Tuesday.
President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of Estonian leader`s official visit
to Azerbaijan.
He highly valued Estonia`s backing position of Azerbaijan towards the
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The Head of State noted the Estonian President`s current visit to Azerbaijan would
give an impetus to bilateral cooperation in political, economic and other spheres.
Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, in turn, expressed his gratitude for the
warm hospitality shown to the delegation.
He pointed out a business forum to be held during the visit would provide
significant contribution to strengthening relations between the two countries.
The Estonian leader particularly stressed Azerbaijan`s role in global energy security.
He underscored his country attaches great importance to relations with Azerbaijan
and expressed confidence his current visit would contribute to expanding bilateral
ties.
