LLM TO HAVE PALESTINE RELIEF FUND BOX AT TOLL PLAZA
KUALA LUMPUR, 14 Jan (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) will
provide special boxes at all toll plazas nationwide to enable motorists to
contribute to the Palestine Relief Fund.
Its chairman, Syed Jamal Syed Jaafar, said all the 24 highway
concessionaires had agreed to the move and would have the fund boxes placed at
their respective toll plazas.
The move was to enable motorists to contribute their loose change after
paying the toll to help the Palestinians, he said at a function here Wednesday.
At the function, 104 staff of LLM and the highway concessionaires received
RM500 each from LLM to help ease their financial burden in meeting their
children's school needs.
