Manchester United to play S. Korean club in July

MACAU, China, Jan. 14 (Yonhap) -- Manchester United will face a South Korean football team on the second leg of its four-match Asian tour in July, United's chief executive said in a press conference here Wednesday.

David Gill said the team to face off with United in Seoul's World Cup Stadium on
July 20 has not yet been selected, but that he will discuss the matter with the
Korea Football Association and K-League clubs.
Gill expressed high expectations for the performance of South Korean striker Park
Ji-sung, the only Asian player in the English club. Park will be a key player in
United's tour that starts July 18 in China, said Gill.
After the Seoul match, United will fly to Jakarta, Indonesia, to face a selection
of Indonesia Super League stars on July 24, followed by a final match in Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia, on July 26.
