ESTONIA, AZERBAIJAN TO CO-OP IN ICT FIELD
Baku, January 14 (AzerTAc). Staff of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan together with their colleagues from Estonia has discussed the questions envisioned in the inter-governmental agreement on cooperation in the ICT sphere, 14 January.
Minister Ali Abbasov, Azerbaijan, said: “Preliminary version of the Agreement is ready. Currently the document is being improved by the Estonian side on the base of the European Union requirements. The Agreement is to be signed in the first half of current year.”
Minister Abbasov in detail informed on development of ICT sphere in the country and the measures undertaken to form information society in the Republic.
Estonian Minister Yuhan Parts spoke of e-government, application of e-document exchange and other IT parameters.
The parties also discussed the questions lifted at the ICT business Forum held in Baku, and made certain proposals to develop cooperation links in this field.
