MOLDOVA INTENDS TO JOIN NABUCCO PIPELINE
Baku, January 16 (AzerTAc). Moldova`s Deputy Minister of Economy Tydor Kopach said his country intends to join the Nabucco gas pipeline which will bypass Russia.
According to him, Moldova currently depends on Russian gas, and the country intends
to diversify its energy sources. He also added the issue will be discussed between
foreign ministers of Moldova and Romania.
Meanwhile, a high-level meeting on the Nabucco pipeline will be held in Budapest
late January.
