Foreign Trade Minister discusses commercial cooperation with Dutch counterpart

H.E. Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Foreign Trade, discussed yesterday with Frans Heemskerk, the Netherland's State Secretary for Foreign Trade, ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries, particularly in commercial and investment fields. The two sides reviewed means to benefit from the various facilities offered by the two countries to investors and ways to promote joint investments.
Meanwhile, round-table talks were held later this evening between UAE and Dutch businessmen. The talks were attended by Prince Wellim Alexander, Crown Prince of the Netherlands, Sheikha Lubna and Heemskerk. Sheikha Lubna said trade between the two countries rose from USD 1.2 billion in 2006 to 1.4 billion.
