Mohammed bin Zayed receives Italian Parliament Speaker

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received in Abu Dhabi yesterday Giafranco Fini, Speaker of the Italian Parliament and his accompanying delegation. Sheikh Mohammed and Fini discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them. They also reviewed current developments in the region, including the situation in the Palestinian arena. The two sides stressed the need to find peaceful and just solutions so all countries of the region could enjoy peace and stability.
Sheikh Mohammed emphasised the important role played by the European Union in promoting dialogue and resuming peace efforts in a way that will enable countries of the region to live in peace and security. The meeting was attended by Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Ghurair, Speaker of the Federal National Council.
