AZERBAIJAN IS TO BE THE MOST DYNAMIC COUNTRY IN CIS, UN REPORT SAYS

Baku, January 19 (AzerTAc). In 2009, Azerbaijan is to become the most dynamic country among the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Its economy will increase by 14%, UN report about the “World Economic Situation and Prospects 2009” says.

Growth in world gross product (WGP) is expected to slow to 1.0 per cent in 2009,
including Russia – 4,8%, Georgia-4,5, Kazakhstan - 4% , while Ukraine -2,1%.
