MUCH DONE TO DEVELOP FOOTBALL IN AZERBAIJAN, BLATTER
Baku, January 19 (AzerTAc). Much has been done to develop football in Azerbaijan, said president of the sport's world governing body Joseph Blatter responding to questions on the situation of football in the country.
Speaking to a press conference following an opening ceremony of the international
Commonwealth of Independent States and Baltic States Cup in Moscow, FIFA President
said “we have always been cooperating with Azerbaijan`s football authorities, and
our cooperation will be further developed”.
Last Saturday FIFA President met in the Russian capital with chief of the
Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan Rovnag Abdullayev.
