ADAM MALIK HOSPITAL FORMS MEDICAL TEAM TO SEPARATE SIAMESE TWIN
Medan, N Sumatra, Jan 20 (ANTARA) - The Adam Malik general hospital will immediately set up a medical practitioners team to separate the Siamese twin babies namely Asni I and Asni II, who parents are Irwan and Asni.
"A discussion was still going on regarding which doctors who become the team members. For sure, the doctors must be skillful such as internist and child specialist," dr.M. Nur Rasyid Lubis, director for human resources and education of the hospital said here on Tuesday.
Dr. M. Nur Rasyid Lubis said the hospital had appointed several specialized doctors among others Prof Dr Hanafi,dr Zainuddin, Prof Dr Munar Sp A, and dr Guslihan Dasa Tjipta, before setting up the medical team, adding that the Siamese twin was born through by cecirean operation.
The spokesman said the time of the operation has yet to be set.
