PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES EUROPEAN COMMISSIONER FOR EXTERNAL RELATIONS AND EUROPEAN NEIGHBORHOOD POLICY
Baku, January 21 (AzerTAc). Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan has received Benita Ferrero-Waldner, European Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighborhood Policy and her accompanying delegation.
Successful development of Azerbaijan-EU cooperation in a variety of fields and good
future prospects for this cooperation was stressed during the meeting. Azerbaijan`s
active involvement into the European neighborhood policy was welcomed. The sides
also exchanged their views on the future prospects for Azerbaijan-EU relations.
