Progressive technologies of Kazakhstani medicine

Astana, 22 January 2009, Khabar - Original cellular protective coronary stent has been presented at the National scientific medical center. It is used for reviving of narrowed vessels of heart. This center has been successfully holding operations on coronary stenting for three years. And the republic allocates 412 000 tenge for operating one patient. Such operations are carried out in 5 cardio surgeon centers of Kazakhstan. In future every regional center will have cardio surgical departments and now scientific medical center of Astana compares advantages and defects of coronary stents that are made in various countries according to different technologies. That’s why this elaboration of Israeli doctors is very important for cardiologists.

- Our colleagues came here to tell about the technology of these stents and their using. Also they will show how to set these stents correctly in the organism of patients. Such training seminars are held in framework of program of development of cardio surgery that is begun in Kazakhstan.
