MEETING OF CASPIAN MARITIME MANAGEMENT PROJECT HELD IN LONDON

London, January 22 (AzerTAc). Caspian Maritime Management project has held its
regular meeting in London, bringing together delegates from the key ministries and
national companies from Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, as well as representatives of
British Foreign and Commonwealth Office and International Maritime Organization.

Azerbaijan`s delegation was headed by Namig Agamaliyev, Deputy Chief of the State
Maritime Administration.
The British government-supported project aims to encourage Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan
individually to recognize and begin to address internationally the immediate danger
to shipping and to the unique environment in the Caspian, and so to security of
energy export routes, through unregulated maritime activity.
