Kahramaa to Take Part in COP22

Doha, November 09 (QNA) - Qatar Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) said today that it will take part in the United Nations Climate Change Conferences, COP22, in Marrakech. The company said in a statement that it has prepared well for the conference to reflect the State of Qatar's image in a positive manner. The statement also said that the national conservation and energy efficiency programme (Tarsheed) will be present in the conference's accompanying exhibition. The exhibition's wing representing Qatar will also include officials from the Ministry of Municipality and Environment. The statement noted that the Qatari section has seen a large number of visitors. The company aims to present a number of research papers, projects and initiatives to the forum that discuss the role of Tarsheed in promoting energy efficiency and conservation. (QNA)
