CONFERENCE “ACADEMIC EXCHANGE BETWEEN AZERBAIJAN AND GERMANY: CURRENT STATE AND PROSPECTS” HELD IN BERLIN

Baku, January 23 (AzerTAc). A conference on “Academic exchange between Azerbaijan and Germany: current state and prospects” was held in Berlin. Members of Azerbaijan`s Parliament Rovshan Rzayev and Akram Abdullayev participated in the event.

During the visit, the MPs also met with members of the German Bundestag to discuss
expanding education cooperation between the two countries as well as
inter-parliamentary ties.
Akram Abdullayev told journalists that Germany was curious about developing
education cooperation with Azerbaijan.
He stressed the necessity of increasing the number of German students studying in
Azerbaijan, adding “it will contribute to making the international community more
aware of realities on the country.”
Abdullayev noted they also discussed with Bundestag members settlement of the
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
