MEMBER OF U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND CONGRESSIONAL AZERBAIJAN CAUCUS MAKES STATEMENT ON 20 JANUARY TRAGEDY
Baku, January 23 (AzerTAc). Steve Cohen, member of the U.S. House of Representatives and the Congressional Azerbaijan Caucus made a statement on 20 January tragedy.
The statement provides detailed information about the tragedy. It also says 20
percent of territories of Azerbaijan were occupied by Armenia.
The statement goes on to say that presidential and parliamentary elections in the
country were in a free manner. It also stresses that Azerbaijan has developed very
much thanks to free market reforms carried out in the country. No foreign armed
forces were deployed in Azerbaijan excluding its territories which are under
occupation, the statement concludes.
