Kim Jong Il to Be Remembered in Sri Lanka

Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- A Sri Lankan committee for remembering HE Kim Jong Il was formed in Colombo on Nov. 15. The chairman of the Gampaha Branch of the Sri Lanka Society for Self-Reliance Studies who doubles as vice-chairman of the Sri Lanka-People's Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the committee. The committee decided to organize political and cultural functions to praise the noble career and exploits of leader Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of his demise. -0-
