Police arrest man suspected of killing female university student
ANSAN, South Korea, Jan. 25 (Yonhap) -- Police in the southern part of South Korea have arrested a man who allegedly murdered a 21-year-old female university student, officials said Sunday.
Police say the 38-year-old suspect, identified only by his surname Kang, has
confessed to killing the female student who went missing on Dec. 19 last year and
was found dead in the city of Gunpo, south of Seoul.
Police are still investigating the motive behind the killing but news reports say
the suspect attempted to rape the student.
