Vientiane Capital farmers accelerate dry season crops cultivation
(KPL) Vientiane sets a plan for planting cash crops in dry season on 6,330 ha for feeding Vientiane markets.
Presently rice farmers in Vientiane Capital are focusing on replanting procedure of dry season rice production and plant cash crops which was 40 percent to complete or equals to around 2,500 ha out of total areas.
The data collection of Vientiane Agriculture and Forestry Promotion Unit disclosed last week that Hadsaifong district was a largest area to cultivate and other district respectively.
