Anniversary of Demise of Kim Jong Il Observed Abroad

Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- Lectures and film shows took place in Myanmar, DR Congo, Angola and South Africa between December 12 and 15 in commemoration of the fifth anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il. "Kimjongilia", "The Tower of the Juche Idea" and other Korean films were shown. Present at the events were personages and popular masses from different walks of life in those countries. The vice-chairman of the Yangon Regional Executive Committee of Myanmar's National League for Democracy said that Kim Jong Il was the distinguished thinker-theoretician and leader and the benevolent father as he comprehensively developed in depth the Juche idea, the Songun idea, turned the DPRK into an invincible power any formidable enemy dare provoke and enjoyed absolute support and trust from the people. The chairman of the Group for Study of Songun Policy at Bandundu University of DR Congo said in a lecture: HE Kim Jong Il is the peerlessly great man who bolstered up the military muscle of the DPRK and consolidated the socialist system centered on the popular masses with his unique Songun politics. A letter to respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event held in DR Congo. -0-
