Mumbai Tycoon Among Istanbul Terror Attack Victims

By Shakir Husain NEW DELHI, Jan 3 (Bernama) -- A prominent Indian real estate tycoon was among the victims of Sunday's terror attack in Istanbul. Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj said two Indian nationals died in the incident. They were identified as Abis Rizvi, chief executive officer of Mumbai-based Rizvi Builders, and Khushi Shah from Gujarat. Abis was the son of Akhtar Hasan Rizvi, a well-known real estate developer and a former parliament member. He was also a film producer and made the movie 'Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans'. Many Bollywood celebrities condemned the attack and expressed their shock over Abis' death. A gunman opened fire at revellers celebrating the New Year in Istanbul's Reina club, killing 39 people and injuring about 70. -- BERNAMA
