AZERBAIJANI DELEGATION TO ATTEND 32ND SESSION OF UN COMMISSION ON NARCOTIC DRUG IN BANGKOK
Baku, 28 January (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani delegation will be attending the 32nd session of the United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs to take place in Bangkok, Thailand from February 10 to 13.
The session will be attended by the countries party to the United Nations Convention
against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances.
The Convention is one of three major drug control treaties currently in force. It
provides additional legal mechanisms for enforcing the 1961 Single Convention on
Narcotic Drugs and the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances.
The Convention was adopted in1988.
