Malaysia's Efforts In Providing Best Access For Healthcare Receives Recognition

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 7 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Najib Razak says Malaysia's efforts to promote quality and affordable healthcare have been recognised. He said Malaysia was rated the top of four countries with the best healthcare in the world by a monthly magazine, International Living. "Our top spot on @inliving's Best Healthcare In The World is a recognition of our effort to promote quality & affordable healthcare. "I have always maintained that all Malaysians must have access to healthcare, no matter where they are," he tweeted in his Twitter @NajibRazak Friday night. The magazine published an article Thursday on 'Four Countries With The Best Healthcare In The World' and rated Malaysia as the top, followed by Costa Rica, Colombia and Mexico. It reported that one of the main concerns of any person looking to retire overseas was the quality of healthcare. "In each of these countries, you’ll find clean, excellent hospitals, highly trained doctors, and very affordable care," it said.
