DPRK's Important Day Observed Abroad

Pyongyang, January 13 (KCNA) -- Lectures, reading sessions, round-table talks and film shows were held in Finland, Norway, Guinea, Ethiopia and Nigeria between Dec. 12 and 27 last year to mark the fifth anniversary of respected Marshal Kim Jong Un's assumption of the supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army (KPA). Korean films such as "Mirae Scientists Street" and "Sci-Tech Complex" were shown. The chairperson of the National Committee of Finland for the Study of the Juche Idea said in a lecture that it was a great event in the DPRK to hold Kim Jong Un in high esteem as the KPA supreme commander, adding: Tightly taking arms of Songun bequeathed by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, Kim Jong Un has reliably defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country and the gains of the revolution. The U.S.-led imperialist allied forces are running amuck to strangle socialism of the DPRK, but the just cause of the Korean people is sure to win under his seasoned leadership. -0-
