HM King thanked on law issuance

Manama, Jan.13 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received a cable of thanks from Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh on ratifying and issuing the law on protecting society from the Acquired Immuno-Deficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS) and preserving the rights of the people living with the disease. “The issuance of the law reflects the farsighted and wise vision of HM the King to support and protect HIV/AIDS patients and preserve the rights of those living with it”, she said. She underscored the importance of the new legislation which, she said, complies with related laws and international covenants. She paid tribute, in her cable of thanks, to HM the King, hailing the strong royal support to the health sector.
