FOR 2008 1.4 MILLION PASSENGERS CARRIAGED BY AIR
Baku, 29 January (AzerTAc). The State Statistical Committee informs that for 2008 passenger carriages by air reached 1.4 million. 7.3% of passengers were carried by private transport, while 92.7% by state transport.
For the reported period it was transported 42.9 thousand tons of cargo by air. 86.5%
of cargo carriages were carried out by non-state sector.
