Coal Production Increases in DPRK

Pyongyang, January 20 (KCNA) -- Coal miners of the Sunchon Area Youth Coal Mining Complex in the DPRK are increasing the coal production. They produced 1 100 more tons of coal in fifteen days of January as compared with the same period of last year. Coal miners of the February 8 Jikdong Youth Coal Mine and the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine boosted the daily output 1.3 times. Meanwhile, the Ryongdae Coal Mine is increasing the production through advanced cutting method and continuous drilling and blasting. -0-
