Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Marked in Egypt

Pyongyang, January 25 (KCNA) -- An Egyptian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il was formed in Cairo on Jan. 19. Yehia Zakaria Khairullah, vice-chairman of the Socialist Freedom Party of Egypt and chairman of the Egypt-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold a seminar, film show, photo exhibition and other political and cultural events praising Kim Jong Il's revolutionary career and exploits from Jan. 19 to Feb. 18. -0-
