Funeral of Kang Ki Sop Held

Pyongyang, January 25 (KCNA) -- A funeral of Kang Ki Sop, alternate member of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, deputy to the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and general director of the General Administration of Civil Aviation , took place here on Tuesday. The participants and bereaved family members observed a moment's silence in memory of the deceased before his coffin was carried out of the Sojang Club. The hearse left for the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri. A ceremony of bidding last farewell to the deceased took place at the cemetery. The remains of the deceased were buried in his grave. Placed before the grave was a wreath sent by respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un. Also laid were wreaths in the names of the party and power organs, the General Administration of Civil Aviation and other units.
