AZERBAIJANI HR FUND FOR ICT DEVELOPMENT HOLDS FIRST MEETING IN 2009
Baku, January 30 (AzerTAc). The first meeting of the Trustee Council on “Human Resources Fund for the Development of Information and Communication Technology” in current year was held with the participation of its founders – 11 IT companies of the country, including Azercell Telecom, Bakcell, AzEuroTel, Caspian American
Telecommunication (CATEL), Delta Telecom, Azerfon, Azel, Sinam, R.I.S.K, Ultra, Microsoft Azerbaijan and National Council of Azerbaijani Youth Organization.
The meeting participants discussed a draft plan of action for 2009, including
projects and seminars.
“Human recourses Fund for ICT Development” was established under the initiative of
the Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Information and Communications Technologies.
Representatives of Cisсo, HP, Ericsson and Huawei companies participated in the
meeting of the Fund as observers in Azerbaijan.
The principal aim of the Fund is to build up relations with foreign scientific and
communications centers to ensure the qualification of personnel.
