SOCAR PRESIDENT MEETS NICO MANAGING DIRECTOR
Baku, January 30 (AzerTAc). President of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovnaq Abdullayev met Friday with Mohammad Javad Asemipour, managing director of Iran`s Naftiran Intertrade Company (NICO).
Abdullayev briefed Asemipour on major energy projects being carried out in his country.
According to him, cooperation between SOCAR and NICO will contribute to
strengthening relationship between Azerbaijan and Iran.
Asemipour, in turn, said his company was one of participants in the “Shah Deniz”
project.
He also praised the level of SOCAR-NICO cooperation.
