Chief of Staff attends IDEX 2017

Abu Dhabi, Feb. 21 (BNA): Chief of Staff of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi attended today the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) 2017 which got underway in Abu Dhabi, the UAE, with the participation of around 1235 companies specialised in defence and military industries. The BDF Chief of Staff toured the exhibition and got informed about its different sections featuring cutting edge international defence systems and military technologies which contribute to boosting regional and international peace and security. A conference was held on the sidelines of the exhibition during which issues pertaining to future defence technologies, the latest scientific theories and new strategic defence trends were spotlighted. The BDF Chief of Staff returned to Bahrain today. He was accompanied by Military Cooperation Director Rear Admiral Mohammed Hashim Al Sada and senior BDF officers.
