UAE leadership pioneer of the culture of tolerance: study
Abu Dhabi, February 2, 2009 (WAM) - UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan is playing a leading role in promoting the culture of tolerance, openness, peaceful co-existence and mutual respect, according to a new study by the Media Affairs Office of Deputy Prime Minister's office.
Following the steps of the Late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, pioneer of tolerance and the UAE Founding Father, the UAE leadership has called for building constructive dialogue, integration and interaction to build understanding and peace to unroot hatred and violence, noted the study which was released under the title "UAE and the Culture of Tolerance".
The UAE culture of co-existence and tolerance has always been supportive of the country's ongoing process of development and building where nationals of many countries and followers of different faiths come from different cultures to the UAE to live together, cooperate and further champion the peaceful cultural melting pot, stressed the study.
