Premier hails Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations

Manama, Feb.25 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa held a phone call with the Amir of Kuwait His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and congratulated him on his country’s 56th National Day and the 26th anniversary of the Liberation Day. HRH the Premier hailed Kuwait’s landmark development strides in all fields and wished the brotherly country further progress and prosperity, lauding deep-rooted historic relations and growing cooperation. The two leaders discussed current regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest. The Premier hailed the crucial role led by HH Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in bolstering the march of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) towards serving the interests of member states and the region. He lauded the Kuwaiti leader’s contributions to strengthen the GCC interstate complementary relations towards bosltering the six-member bloc so as it attains its goals and achieves stability, development and prosperity for member states and ensure people’s well-being. The Amir of Kuwait thanked HRH the Premier for his good feelings and congratulations on these national days which, he said, reflects the strength and the specificity of bilateral relations binding the two countries.
