Lubna Al Qasimi begins visit to Sweden
Stockholm, Feb 3, 2009 (WAM) - H.E. Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Foreign Trade arrived yesterday in Stockholm on a visit to Sweden. She is leading a business delegation from public and private sectors.
On the first day of her visit, Sheikha Lubna met with Peter Eghardt, Chairman of Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, in presence of Sheikha Najlaa Mohammed Al Qasimi, UAE Ambassador to Sweden and Salah Salem bin Omair Al Shamsi, Head of the Chambers Federation '&' Chairman of Abu Dhabi Chamber of commerce '&' Industry.
The meeting touched on bilateral relations and ways to enhance them, as well as boosting cooperation between Emarati and Swedish businesses in all sectors, including real estate, renewable energy, telecommunications, financial services and technology. Two-way trade between the UAE and Sweden reached Dh3.04 billion in 2007.
