Federal National Council delegation meets Emirati students in Ireland

DUBLIN, 4th March, 2017 (WAM) -- A delegation from the Federal National Council (FNC), headed by Speaker Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, has met Emirati students studying in Irish universities. The visit of the delegation was part of the FNC's 2016-2021 strategy which provides for enhancing communication with citizens within and outside the UAE. During the meeting, Al Qubaisi conveyed greetings from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates. Ambassador of the UAE to Ireland Saeed Mohammed Ali Al Shamsi, the UAE Embassy staff and FNC members attended the meeting. Students are the best representatives of their country and can reflect its values of co-existence, tolerance, happiness and respect for other cultures, as well as its leadership in all spheres and efforts to serve humanity, Al Qubaisi noted. Speaking about the outcome of the delegation's visit to Ireland, Al Qubaisi said ways of advancing co-operation and relations between the two countries were discussed, with a focus on education and exchange of expertise. http://wam.ae/en/details/1395302600915
