Qatar Stock Index Gains 78.74 Points

Doha, March 21 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 78.74 points (+0.76%) when the bourse closed trading at 10,485.53 points Tuesday. The volume of shares traded increased to 13,541,670 from 10,390,260 on Monday and the value of shares also increased QR502,924,669.32 from QR371,327,688.86 on Monday. From the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 39 saw trading today. From these 27 gained and 10 companies closed lower today, remained two companies unchanged. Indices of six sectors ended in green and remained one sector ended in red today. QSE Total Return Index gained +0.76 to 17,348.37 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index rose to +0.78% to 4,160.55 points and QSE All Share Index decreased +0.67% to 2,944.93 points. (QNA)
