CHAIRMAN OF AZERBAIJAN SUPREME COURT MEETS PRESIDENT OF EUROPEAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS
Baku, February 4 (AzerTAc). Chairman of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Ramiz Rzayev
met on January 30 with President of the European Court of Human Rights Jean-Paul
Costa in Strasburg in the sidelines of seminar dedicated to the Strasbourg Court`s
50th anniversary.
Rzayev spoke of the ongoing judicial reforms in Azerbaijan, and the work done to
provide transparency in judicial system.
Jean-Paul Costa recalled his participation at the ceremony marking 85th anniversary
of Azerbaijan Supreme Court.
He expressed importance of development and expansion of bilateral ties between
Azerbaijan Supreme Court and the European Court of Human Rights.
