AZERBAIJANI OMBUDSWOMAN ATTENDS EVENTS IN GERMANY ON STABILIZATION PROCESS IN SOUTH CAUCASUS

Baku, 3 fevral (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani commissioner for human rights Elmira
Suleymanova participated in a series of events in Germany on stabilization process
in South Caucasus organized by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, according to
the Ombudsman`s office.
At the meeting with representatives of the Federal Foreign Office, Elmira
Suleymanova noted Nagorno-Karabakh dispute is not just a conflict because of
Armenia`s long-term aggression against Azerbaijan.
At the meeting in the Chancellor`s Office, Suleymanova stressed chancellor Angela
Merkel`s support for settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is important.
Armenia`s aggression against Azerbaijan negatively impacts on the peace, stability
and development in South Caucasus, Suleymanova said in the meeting with members of
the German delegation to the PACE.
