Kim Jong-Nam: Malaysian Government Will Issue Statement In Due Time - PM Najib

KUALA LUMPUR, March 30 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Government will issue a statement on the death of the half-brother of the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-nam, when the time comes, says Prime Minister Najib Razak on Wednesday. He said that the investigation into Jong-nam case involved negotiations between the governments of Malaysia and North Korea and is extremely sensitive. "The government's priority in the negotiations is to ensure the safety of Malaysians in Pyongyang and to protect the sovereignty of our country. I hope everyone will be patient," he told a press conference here Thursday night. Jong-nam, who carried a passport bearing the name of Kim Chol, died after being approached by two foreign women who wiped his face with nerve agent VX while awaiting a flight to Macau at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2) on Feb 13. --BERNAMA
