KUALA LUMPUR, April 13 (Bernama) -- A Thai woman and two local men were arrested Tuesday for suspected involvement in a counterfeit money syndicate. Wangsa Maju District Police chief Supt Mohamad Roy Suhaimi Sarif said the 38-year-old woman, and the men, aged 37 and 45, were arrested at a hotel in Jalan Metro Pudu here in an operation mounted by a team from the Commercial Crime Investigation Division of the Wangsa Maju District Police Headquarters. Upon inspection, 32 counterfeit RM100 notes were found on them and further interrogation led to the discovery of a printing machine, paper cutting tools and mobile phones of various brands in a house in Cheras, he told Bernama when contacted.
