Shahmar Movsumov: There will be no problems with the financing of Southern Gas Corridor project this year

Baku, April 18, AZERTAC “There will not be any problems with the financing of the Southern Gas Corridor project this year,” Shahmar Movsumov, Executive Director of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan Republic (SOFAZ), has told a press conference. He said that SOFAZ did not allocate any funds for the project this year. However, he added, the funding for the Southern Gas Corridor project is envisaged in the state budget for this year. “I think there will not be any problems with the funding this year. At the same time, negotiations are underway now for the financing of the Southern Gas Corridor in the next two years,” he added.
