Deputy Premier meets Pakistani, Sri Lankan ambassadors

Manama, Apr.23(BNA): Deputy Premier Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa received Pakistani Ambassador to Bahrain Javed Malik and wished him success in assuming his diplomatic duties. The two sides discussed the outcome of exchanged visits, which yielded the Bahraini-Pakistani Business Opportunities Conference and the signing of trade and economic agreements. The Deputy Premier also received Sri Lankan Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. A. Saj U. Mendis and reviewed the possibility of benefiting from the Sri Lankan skilled workforce in the hospitality sector. The two sides discussed ways of boosting bilateral tourism activities. According to latest statistics, up to 10,000 Bahrainis have visited Sri Lanka recently.
