Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Defense: "Osa” surface-to-air missile system of Armenian anti-missile forces destroyed

Baku, May 16, AZERTAC Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Defense has said that an “Osa” surface-to-air missile system of the Armenian anti-missile forces has been destroyed in the Fuzuli-Khojavend direction of the frontline. “Armenia continues to carry out provocations in order to once again escalate the situation on the frontline," a statement of the ministry said. The ministry said the system was destroyed after the Armenian anti-missile forces attempted to ensure aerial control along the Fuzuli-Khojavend direction of the frontline. Given the real threat to Azerbaijan's aerial vehicles and in order to prevent the enemy's activity, the Osa” surface-to-air missile system and a military vehicle of the Armenian anti-missile forces were destroyed, its personnel was annihilated, the ministry said.
