CIS LIBRARIES WEB PORTAL TO BE CREATED

Baku, February 8 (AzerTAc). The web portal of CIS national libraries is scheduled to
be launched in 2010.
According to director of the Akhundov National Library Karim Tahirov, the decision
to create a portal was made at the last year`s meeting of the Eurasia Library
Assembly
He noted the portal of Azerbaijani libraries had already been created.
Technical issues concerning the CIS libraries portal will be discussed in November
at the meeting of the Eurasia Library Assembly.
