SOCAR Balkans, Bulgartransgaz sign MoU

Sofia, July 20, AZERTAC SOCAR Balkans, an affiliate of Azerbaijan`s state oil firm SOCAR, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bulgartransgaz, a natural gas transmission and storage system operator of Bulgaria. Bulgarian Energy Minister Temenujka Petkova, Azerbaijani ambassador Nargiz Gurbanova and Executive Director of SOCAR Balkans Murad Heydarov attended the signing ceremony. The memorandum aims to explore additional routes for supplying gas to Bulgaria and other countries in Southeast Europe.
