Qatar Insurance Adds New Branch in Oman's Al Amerat

Doha, July 22 (QNA) - Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) announced Saturday that it opened a new branch in Oman's Al Amerat through its subsidiary Oman Qatar Insurance Company (OQIC), a leading insurer in the Omani market. The total number of branches with the latest addition rises to 20. A statement released by the company to the press said that Deputy Group President and CEO MENA region of QIC inaugurated the new branch, in the presence of Second Secretary of Qatar Embassy Jumah Bin Khalid Bujassoum and Sheikh Dr Yahya bin Suleiman Al Nadabi Wali along with a number of ranking company executives. Al Mannai said at the opening ceremony that "the opening of the sixth branch matches with our objective of moving closer to our customers especially in the strategic area of Al Amerat. It also serves as proof of the strong customer confidence and support that OQIC enjoys in the Sultanate." He added that "Bringing convenience to customers has always been a priority for us. Going forward, we will continue to revolutionize our product offerings and services while bearing in mind the unique priorities of our customers. It has indeed been a remarkable journey so far and I'm confident that with the support and encouragement of our customers, we will be successful in maintaining a long and successful relationship with them." For his part Second Secretary of Qatar Embassy said that the embassy, represented by HE Ambassador Ali Fahad Al Hajiri, is committed to supporting all national institutions inside the Sultanate which reflects the depths and the strength of bilateral ties with Oman. He highlighted the growth of activities of Qatar Insurance inside the Sultanate of Oman, which was one of the better Qatari investments in the country. (QNA)
