PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV MEETS CZECH PREMIER TOPOLANEK

Baku, February 13 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met here today with visiting Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Mirek Topolanek.

Successful development of Czech-Azerbaijani relations in a variety of fields was
stressed at the meeting. The sides noted there is good potential for expanding
economic ties including energy cooperation. Importance of strengthening bilateral
relationship within the framework of Azerbaijan-EU cooperation was stressed.
According to them, the meeting of Azerbaijani president and Czech Premier during the
Nabucco summit in Budapest and Mirek Topolanek`s official visit to Azerbaijan is
important for solidifying bilateral relations, discussing future prospects of
relations and deepening cooperation.
