NOVA MSC TEAMS UP WITH BRUNEI`S ROYAL

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 16 (Bernama) -- Application software and services provider
Nova MSC Bhd and Brunei's royal Pengiran Anak Abdul Wadood Bolkiah have signed
an agreement to set up a joint venture company called Nova (B) Sdn Bhd.

The 60:40 joint venture company between Abdul Wadood and Nova MSC will be
responsible for marketing and delivering practical information technology (IT)
solutions and services in Brunei.

"We are excited about the prospects of Nova (B), especially with the recent
announcement of Brunei's National Development Plan which stated an intention to
spend about B$1 billion on e-government in the next few years," Abdul Wadood
said in a statement here Monday.

Nova MSC will be the leading implementation partner for Nova (B) for any
related businesses and will provide pre-sales, project implementation and second
level technical maintenance support.

The initial paid-up of the joint venture company will be B$30,000 comprising
30,000 ordinary shares of B$1.00 each.

Prior to the setting up of Nova (B), Nova MSC had already secured a
multi-billion dollar project, Sistem Pengangkutan Darat, from the Land Transport
Department of Brunei's Ministry of Communication.

The project is currently in its final stage of planning for a formal launch.

healthcare and e-government sectors.
